Are there any wild gorillas left?
All three gorilla subspecies are listed as endangered. The Western Lowland Gorilla population is about 50.000. Eastern Lowland Gorilla population rests at around 2,500. Mountain Gorilla population is between 600-800 individuals. These were the animals studied by Dian Fossey.
