Why should I feel like I have to be force to break up with my African American boyfriend? PLZ HELP?

Honestly, if you're 28 and in a good relationship then it seems to me you're an adult who should be able to make up her own mind and live her own life. If your family and friends can't accept him and appreciate him then they need to take a flying leap. Sounds like you need to grow up a bit and stop relying on everyone else's opinion of right and wrong to define you.
